How strong are soldered copper joints
When copper pipes or other copper parts are joined by soldering, a filler metal (solder) is melted and allowed to flow into the joint between the parts. The solder cools and solidifies, creating a bond between the parts that is typically stronger than the copper itself.
solder ring joints It's important to note that while solder ring joints can be strong, they are not suitable for all applications. For example, in high-pressure or high-temperature environments, other types of joining methods may be necessary to ensure the strength and integrity of the joint.
