Jamaican banana, sugar cane and coffee have long enjoyed excellent brand recognition on the global market as premium quality products. Other products such as yam, scotch bonnet and sweet potato have now joined their predecessors and enjoy a dominant position in ethnic markets across North America and the United Kingdom. JAECo seeks to exploit the high demand for Jamaican produce overseas by consolidating the best produce from a cross section of farmers to augment produce grown on its own farm in the hills of St Andrew under ideal climatic conditions and adhering to strict technical procedures. The produce is consolidated at our processing centre where experienced selectors ensure that only the highest quality produce is accepted into the facility for processing.
