Screw Stopper

General Requirements

1) Each screw stopper is to be supplied with a suitable tommy bar. Tommy bar is to be manufactured by using high strength alloy material duly hardened and normalized to reduce wear and tear. Length of tommy bar shall be sufficient . After manufacture the same is to be tried with the screw stopper.

2) Screw stoppers shall be load tested along with Dee shackle,test loads and date of tests be clearly stamped on the items.

3) After load testing, the items are to be painted with 3 coats of bituminous.

4) After manufacture the items are to be weighed in presence of the inspector and record of weighed weight is to be incorporated in inspection report.

5) To ensure compatibility and matching with chain cable, it is preferred that screw stoppers are manufactured and supplied by all of us.

· Material: Forged from high strength alloy steel

· Size:SWL 5ton~150ton, suit for 19mm~114mm anchor chain

· Design: lightweight design,can be operated by 1 or 2 mans, smoothly match the chain links.

· Cert:Material cert 3.1, Proof load test cert, Dimension Inspection Report, Weighing report

· Finish: black bituminous paint

· Hot dip galvanized

· Manufacture as per MOD and Navy standard

· Equiped with common link, Shackle, Turnbuckle, Tommy Bar, Pad Eye
