Hastelloy B has the following features:
1. It is important to decrease contents of iron and chromium to the lowest levels to prevent beta phase Ni4Mo from being generated.

Application for Hastelloy B:
Hastelloy B has been widely used in pollution control areas, in chemical, petrochemical, energy production industry, especially in the sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and other industries.
Hastelloy C
Hastelloy C alloy contains large amount of elements such as Cr, Mo, with single-phase austenitic microstructure.It is a kingd of corrosion resistant alloy having excellent resistance ability to oxidizing and reducing corrosion medium.
It has excellent resistance ability to stress corrosion cracking, satisfactory corrosion resistant properties in many medium, such as strong inorganic acid solution, chlorine and various medium containing chloride, formic acid and acetic acid, dry chlorine gas, seawater and brine etc.

Hastelloy C alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-ungsten alloy with better overall performance than any other existing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, such as Hastelloy C276, C4 alloy and 625 alloy. Hastelloy C alloy has good resistance ability to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent antioxidant ability to water, wet chlorine, nitric acid or mixed oxidizing acid containing chloride ions. At the same time, Hastelloy C alloy also has the ideal resistance capability encountered in the process of reducing and oxidizing environment. Relying on the universal performance, it can be used in some headache environment, or used in a variety of factory production purpose. Hastelloy C alloy has abnormal resistance of various chemical environment, including strong oxidizing substances, such as ferric chloride, copper chloride, chlorine, thermal pollution solution (organic, inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, water and salt solution, etc. The welding heat affected zone of Hastelloy C alloy is to resist to precipitation formation of grain boundary, making it adapt to various application in chemical process under welding condition.
