Sun Surveying Center History

Sun Surveying Center was established in September 1990 in limited office space about 100 m2 but with great vision to be number one in selling Surveying Instruments And providing professional after sales support. Our Staff was composed of few People not more than 5 Engineers and Administrator but with large capable experience in this field.

Sokkia Co. (Sokkisha that time) was our first manufacturer company producing Surveying Instrument we represent. In November on the same year and after two months from our start, Surveying Systems won first purchase tender including 19 Total Station from Egypt Survey Authority, the Amazing thing that this order was the first Total Station to be used by the Survey Authority and almost in all Egypt, the order of the 19 Total Station model SOKKIA SETC give a big push to Sun Surveying Center.

Sun Surveying Center expanded their business activities by adding the sales of Hydrographic Equipment to be first Egyptian Company in that field.

In year 1995, we represent Teledyne Odom Hydrographic, In year 1997 we represent HYPACK Co. and In year 2000, we represent Teledyne Reson and Klein Associates, Inc. then lately we tagged our Business by representing TOPCON products too. Through all these years we manage to sell good number of Hydrographic Equipment.

Now after More than 25 years looking back proud to our history with the great results. We Made our office to become more than 1000 m2, our staff became 45 Engineers and Technicians, We have three service centers, the main at Al Mohandeseen – Cairo, and another Service center in Nasr City then the service center at Alexandria.

Also, we have established a division for Surveying Projects, we are proud to be among the Egyptians who shared in the execution of many National Projects such as new Suez Canal.
