At our company in Ehime prefecture, Japan, we reclaim abandoned farmlands and organically cultivate kale, cherry blossoms, garlic, and so on. At some farms, we employ a solar sharing system in which we cultivate cherry blossoms and so on under solar panels. In summer, when the sunlight is strong, the shadows of the solar panels protect the crops from the hot sunlight and are able to reduce the burden on the workers. By working on SDGs, we aim to contribute to the region and realize a recycling-oriented society. Also, the cultivation of kale is limited to the winter season. By cultivating it in the harshly cold winter, it will grow slowly, thus growing into kale with an abundance of functional components. The harvested ingredients are processed at our company's organic JAS-certified factory. By drying them at a low temperature with far-infrared radiation, we process them into powder, granules, etc. without additives so as not to mar the ingredients nutrients, flavors, colors, fragrances, and so on.
